Letter to a friend that is based on Gatsby's party in chapter 3
Dear. Anderson
It is always good to write a letter to you. Sorry for late reply. I went to one of my neighbor's party yesterday night. The house was huge and it belonged to a wealthy man called 'Gatsby'. Everyone in the party talked about him, however, but nobody knew specifically about his existence. He never came in front of people to give a brief speech. I suppose he is a shy and calm man.
The party itself was overly luxurious. The bar in the house was full of jazz, cocktails, and people's laugh. Drinks were everywhere and a live orchestra was playing beautiful classics under the stars. People talked to each other, however, they didn't even seem to know each other's names. The party was overly joyful and luxurious, but at the same time, it looked meaningless. Imagine all the people talking to unknown people and pretend as if they knew Gatsby so well. Doesn't this sound boring? Beautiful garden, desserts, and swimming pool were enough to attract people's mind, but I couldn't enjoy the party anymore as soon as I got to know overly self-esteemed people, Hope you know what I was trying to say about yesterday's party. It's time to meet my friend, Nick. I'll write you more this afternoon. Bye!
